Hi there!
I have set a scheduled task on windows server 2016 Datacenter. The task is set to be triggered whenever a event id is logged into the system log.
If the specific event id is logged, then the triggered action (use a script that sends a notification) should be executed.
the task works fine if run it manually but not when I force the event to be logged.
For some reasons all the workarounds point me to a permission issue related on to the registry and DCOM, but this is not working either.
Is there a better workaround that having to modify the registry or the permission on the Service Components?
Thanks a lot
