I have a Citrix XenApp 7.15 LTSR environment build on Server 2016 and I´ve run into a problem with march cumulative update from Windows update. Also worth mentioning that the server I´m having this issue on is a server that is provisioned using Citrix PVS services.
The march culumative update fails with error 0x80070570. I´ve tried several times using windows update from our companies wsus-server. Also tried manually download the update (KB4540670) from microsoft update catalogue. Trend Micro antivirus installed but unloaded during update.
I´ve run sfc /scannow and found some errors but I don´t know how to deal with them. Windows update still doesn´t work after scan.
I used to have this problem starting from october 2019 as well. It ended up with me having to completely rebuild the server from the ground up and then everything worked fine with windows update. Up to march -20 that is. I also noticed that there was a servicing stack update and that someone else on this forum had issues with windows update and citrix pvs after applying a servicing stack update.
Guidance and help would be appreciated!
