Windows Server Licensing Question

Hi Team,

In Windows Server can we do mix licensing in a cluster which has a ABC host for example running 6 Virtual machines, the host configuration is 2*8 and out of 6 VM four VM is running Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and 2 VM's are running Windows Server 2016 Standard Core ?


Please advise and if you have a handout or guide please share the same as well
