re Mail and Calendar for Windows 10 email problem..saved emails over 30 days old in all my folders gone !

i am a small home business and save all my emails on this program for work purposes well i just went to find an old email and the folders are all empty only go back for two three weeks.. how do i restore all these emails? i will require them all for tax purposes. they are payments made and sent and invoices etc..

thanks for your help.. i have used many other programs and never lost emails before. i used to use mailbird but since i upgraded to windows 10 it stopped working so had to use this one on Windows 10..
