File shares

May I kindly ask you to help me resolve such issue?


I have one server for example server1.domain.com (Windows 2016, server in domaiin) and on this server I have shares. These sheres are accessible via localhost, ip address, short name but not via FQDN on server1.domain.com(the same server). For example:

Ok for:

\\localhost

\\server1

\\10.0.0.3

Not ok:

\\server1.domain.com

DNS is working fine.


If I try to access these shares from other servers:

\\server1.domain.com is working.

Why only for this one server(server for shares\server1.domain.com) FQDN is not working
