Add a new domain controller into different site

Hi all,

We have 2 domain controllers in out environment. We bought a new company last month and their location is in Japan. We configured network and now we would like to add a new DC to that site. What is the best practice for that. Shall we create a new site and add DC to it or is it okay to leave the third new dc in our site?

Regarding Subnet, do we need to create a subnet for that new location?
