Hello Everyone,
I recently bought a laptop, then rushed and updated the windows home to Pro from Windows Store, few days later I found out that this laptop has a hardware issue, I contacted the manufacturer and they offered a repair. Long story short, since I bought the laptop from Amazon I just returned it back. Before I return it I posted a question here asking if I'll be able to recover my Win10 Pro upgrade license if I return the laptop and buy another one, and I was told that I could.
Original Discussion:
Now I bought a different laptop, I'm logging in with my Microsoft account and it's requiring me to buy a new license. I spoke with another advisor and he asked me to clean install Win10 Pro then run the troubleshooter in the activation section and use the "I changed hardware on this device recently" option but when I do it says that it's not able to find the device. How do I get my Win10 Pro upgrade license to work on my new laptop?
