I can use apps like Skype without any problem, but almost as soon as I open a browser--Edge, Chrome, Firefox--I lose internet connectivity. The computer settings say I'm connected to the internet but no page will load, saying that it's not reachable or its address is not available, although sometimes says No Internet. This condition usually lasts for about ten minutes, then I'm able to reconnect. Disabling the active adapter (Ethernet) and enabling wifi doesn't help. I can't see any pattern.
This affects all three of my Windows 10 computers, two wifi laptops and an Ethernet desktop. No Android devices have this problem, and I got a new router after it started, so it's not the router. I've tried every fix I could find, from updating drivers to clearing the DNS cache and the winsock stack and changing the DNS server. I'm convinced this is a result of a Windows update but I'd like to know if anyone else is having this problem because I'd like to avoid rolling back the updates.
I lost internet connectivity in the time it took me to write this message.
