My Windows 10 Home turned into Education Edition after I updated my laptop last month. My laptop was linked to a school account, but my main account was my own personal Microsoft account. Today, I got the error message that my activation cannot be done. So I checked my Activation and learned that my original Home Edition is gone.
I have my Windows 10 Product ID, but I didn't get the product key because it was pre-installed to my laptop when I bought it. The laptop model is Samsung Notebook 7 (2019). I contacted Samsung Support, but they said that they don't have the product key. I cannot recover my Windows 10 because it's been more than 10 days since the update is done. Is there any way I can get my product key and go back to my original Windows 10 Home? I cannot even activate my Windows on the Education Edition and it's annoying.
