"You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item" for every action that needs admin rights (Using Administrator account)

Hi guys,

Not sure what I am missing but anytime i do an action that needs admin rights I get a error mentioning that i don't have permissions enough. I'm using the Administrator account so not sure why. This happens after I've promoted the server into a domain controller and installed the roles ADDS, DHCP, DNS. Please see attachement of error example when just trying to open windows Defender.

Any ideas?
