Hi all:
I have a "implementation" question, I have a DELL Server with 128GB ram configured, with +/- 400TB in a storage Pool with diferent virtual disks NTFS used for a lot of different services, NFS, CIFS, using Data Deduplication (only working in the night) and DFS)
Some of this disks recieve more I/O activity than others, for example two disks are used for zimbra by NFS. Some times, I recieve memory virtual alerts. The question is, in this scenario and based in your experiences, do you recommend that the SO manage the virtual memory automatically? Or is better if I set the memory manually, in this case, is better than I use just for drive for paging file or a percent from each disk?.
