windows xp Freezes the keyboard and the mouse on the start menu

I bought HP workstation with Windows xp professional software is installed, I received in the corner of the user access page a message stating that the windows xp installed might be not genuine, the point is the keyboard and mouse are freezed and I couldn't access to upgrade to Windows 10,
