Hi,
I am having a tough time finding a resolution to why a Windows Server 2012 cannot perform windows updates. It all stemmed from trying to install the latest .net framework onto the server, but it seems to just be stuck and no updates are actually completing.
Windows updates themselves say they "install" but after the server reboot, nothing is installed and its back to square one.
I've tried installing updates manually and clearing out the softwaredistribution folders, restarting windows update services - but to no avail.
The current version of the windows update agent is: 7.8.9200.22695
Are there any tools to fix the issue? I've already tried sfc /scannow and dism to repair, but nothing found to repair.
Anyone with any tips that could help me out?
