I've been kernel debugging Windows Server 2016 over the serial link and it recently stopped working (WS2016 hangs on bootup). I believe this started happening after I installed KB4550994.
At bootup, it connects to the debugger and I can break in right away, but then when I let it continue booting up, it hangs and I can no longer break in from the debugger. I've forced a crash dump and it shows that only process 0 is there with lots of threads. I'm not sure what process 0 is waiting for?
Anyone seen this? Any work arounds?
I've also tried to uninstall KB4550994, but it doesn't seem to let me from the gui . Anyone know how to uninstall this update?
