Can you safely upgrade Windows 7 to 10 on an Acer Aspire v3-571 ?

Hi, I am wondering whether I can safely ( without losing data ) upgrade an Acer Aspire v3-571 from Windows to Windows 10 ? I know it's not on the official Acer Windows 10 Creator Update list, but I've read some posts on here about users successfully installing and using W10 on the v3-571. Has anyone had any issues with this? Thanks in advance.
