Hi.If you've seen me post something like this before. I now have more details on the computer make & model/issue.
My computer was working just fine up until recently. The first day it glitched about approximately 30 times and then started normally (that was the day I first reported the issue). I got in, attempted to start a program and a few minutes in the screen glitched and grayed out, not waking up when I shook the mouse to wake it up. I eventually had to shut it down manually. It has not started since. It attempts to for approximately 2-3 seconds and then dies. It could be a number of things. The fan, the adapter, the battery, the display. I recently opened up one of the panels-against my better judgement (yes, I'm an idiot) only to find that it would not close again. I have gotten the appearance of an attempted startup a few time only to find that it was merely that the power button was stuck. About 50% of the time the disc icon lights up along with the power there is one icon that seems to never light up (pictured). I have tried cleaning the adapter, using a different adapter, using a different outlet, numerous hard reboots (where you take the battery & power adapter out and hold power down for 30 seconds to one minute) to no avail. Any help would be appreciated at this point. I know its old and long overdue to die but I still need it for one program and genera file transfer (via flash drive).
