Hai all!
First off, I want to preface this with yes, I know Windows Live Essentials is no longer supported, or a good idea to install in 2020, but we're all shut in, and I got bored, so I want the nostalgia.
Anyway, I obtained a copy of the installer, from records at the internet archive, but when trying to install it, it gets as far as 'preparing to install', then fails with the following error:
The machine is connected to the internet, and I've made sure that the .exe is unblocked in it's properties.
Obviously this is just for nostalgia, so should be nobody's first priority to provide help for, but any help is greatly appreciated.
