Hey,
I have run into an audio issue after factory resetting Windows 10.
After the reset I got a red cross on my volume bar saying "no speakers or headphones are plugged in". Did try to install latest Realtek hd audio from motherboards website but when I try to install it, it doesn't show up in device manager. Every time I try to add it manually trough device manager it gives me a BSOD with error code SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and RTKVHD64.SYS
In the device manager under "system devices" I have two high definition controllers and one of them is with yellow exclamation mark, It has probably something to do with my audio issue but I have no idea how to fix it.
In properties it says -
This device cannot start code 10
Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A348&SUBSYS_86C71043&REV_10\3&11583659&0&FB had a problem starting.
Driver Name: hdaudbus.inf
Class Guid: {4d36e97d-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
Service: HDAudBus
Lower Filters:
Upper Filters:
Problem: 0xA
Problem Status: 0xC0000001
Some things I have tried -
uninstalling/updating the driver but it just pops up again with the mark,
install a fresh windows 10 again,
updated bios,
I did never have this problem before the factory reset, so if someone could help it would mean a lot.
Thanks.
