I have a old IBM Thinkpad that runs Windows Xp and does not support wireless networks. I used a Tp-Link Archer T3U to connect to the wifi. After installing the drivers and all, I am able to detect the wifi networks but unable to connect to them and the error "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try to connect again" is being displayed. Also in the pic below you can see a wifi named Dhruv. I added the SSID and network key manually. So when I try to connect to that instead of getting the above mentioned error. It opens the Wireless Network Connection dialog box and says waiting for wireless network and then timesout.
