I tried both of these, and I still have generic icons in File Explorer where thumbnails should be. Could someone help me figure out how to get my thumbnails back?

Rebuilding Thumbnail Cache:
- Now press Windows + S key together to open Search.
- Now type CMD and select Run as administrator.
- Accept the UAC prompts.
- Type in the following commands one by one and hit Enter:
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
del /f /s /q /a %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\thumbcache_*.db
start explorer.exe - Restart the PC
Rebuilding Icon Cache:
- Press Windows + E key together to open File Explorer.
- Now click on View tab and check the box next to Hidden items.
- Press Windows + R key together, type Appdata, and click on OK.
- Double-click on Local to open it.
- Locate the file name IconCache and right click on it.
- Now click on Delete and click on Yes.
- Restart the PC.
