Forgot password

I tried to resurrect my old Dell laptop running XP from 2012 but I forgot my password. I tried running my old recovery disk and also my bootable install disk. Even tried reinstalling XP from the Dell installation disk but nothing works. F12 key does not work nor does F8. This trash or can I get some help?


I was trying to upgrade to Win 7 and maybe use this again.
