Win 7 Bug after setting new Ms Office 2010 ( default use of open/save assosiations )

Today I did first time installation of Ms Office 2010 in to a Fresh Win7 installation.

Everything when fine, the retail software it register it self to Microsoft with out user interference and I did install SP1 and Greek language proofing tools.

The only problem now is the Win 7 -> New File menu > Word document

Every new created file this gets created with association file.docx


Microsoft office were adjusted to use exclusively file.doc and it works that way on New or Save.

But the windows menu -> New file -> Ms word association this were not updated to change at file.doc


How I get in control of New File (Programs and File type) associations ?
