2 Microsoft accounts

I recently bought a new lap top...I didn't realize I had already made a account using my phone number and I made one with my email address. Now it wont let me log in saying my email belongs to some one else! it does ! its me too! is it just easier to delete one of my accounts? Or can I sync the both of them?
