I have been trying to find an answer to this question through the community, but I mostly found issues on video playback on websites and folders as well.
I am only facing issues when trying to edit videos that I have uploaded from my phone to my laptop. My laptop is a newer laptop-- with an i5 processor, 8 GB ram, and 256 GB SSD. The videos themselves play back fine when I open them to view individually in my files. The issue comes in playback when I'm adding the videos to the Window's video editing software. It's extremely choppy and lags, making it impossible to edit or compile videos.
I'm not sure if this is because these videos were shot on my iPhone at 4k. Either way, I would really appreciate any help, preferably broken down more so it's easier to follow as I'm relatively new to working with this software/editing videos.
