Hello,
Is anyone able to help me with this issue ?
I have been having issues with my computer for the past week and a half, the screens have been turning black and then three things can occur due to troubleshooting i have done over the past week and a half; 1 It can recover and then do the same thing 5 seconds later or minutes later, 2 It Freezes and thus requires me to hold the power button in for 5 seconds, 3 It can BSOD immediately after black screening the reason i know a BSOD is occurring its because after 15 seconds the computer restarts unlike a freeze.
I will now list what troubleshooting i have done to help speed things up, however i am down to do the troubleshooting again if you feel its necessary.
I tried these things (not in proper order but a rough order as its been a week and a half):
Restarting the computer
Update drivers
Re-seating Ram modules
Windows reset which does a semi-fresh install of the computers OS, basically it removes all users and then re-installs over its self ( not sure if its the same as a fresh install )
Used UUD to do a fresh install of GPU drivers
I Downloaded MSI afterburner to check what the GPU was doing and what clock speeds it was reaching, i found that the GPU was boosting over the clocks standard maximum by up to 300MHz and then the computer black-screenes either recovers or crashes. I also had HWmonitor running every time i was doing these to check temps and utilization of the GPU and CPU i thought that boosting the Memory clock speed for my GPU would some how help and that only caused it to freeze and reduce it back down after trying to open any application. I attempted to under-clock it by 100MHz on both the Memory clock and the Core clock this did no take either.
After doing that i attempted to find more troubleshooting things to do and found not much more that i could do.
Check the PSU connections to each part of the computer and change the GPU power cable.
Take out the GPU and clean the fans and heat sink on it
Did another reset for Windows
After this the Screen went black completely as if there was no connection at all, i hit the power button for 5 seconds and waited for it to shutdown. After a few seconds i hit the power button again to boot it and i got no display at all tried again no luck. I concluded that my GPU had died, i grabbed a spare 650Ti and threw it into my Second PICe Slot which runs at x8. it boots and i get into the computer and re-install drivers again using UUD to do a clean install of the drivers for the card i used 445.87 as the card apparently works with them. Nothing seemed wrong so i started up Solitaire like i have been doing each time to test it ( its a light game i thought and most of the time i could get a game or two in before the black screening would show up ) and it worked perfectly fine so after about 10mins it didn't black screen so i thought all was good... until i woke up and later today i was using the computer and it turned black for a few seconds and then recovered (check 1 a-b below). I didn't think much of it as i was just using the computer for browsing the internet and talking to friends on discord while playing a bit of solitaire in between. Then it went black and flashed black with the cursor and taskbar it occurred for about 15 seconds flashing on and off every few seconds until i pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL and then i was able to allow it to recover.

I tried these things (not in proper order but a rough order as its been a week and a half):
Restarting the computer
Result: Nothing Changed the screens kept blacking out and returning ( most of the time ).
Update drivers
Result: The issue persisted however i could start to open programs without the screen freezing for 0.5s-2s.
Re-seating Ram modules
Result: Computer did not boot properly i had to clear the CMOS and enable my D.O.C.P again ( My motherboards XMP settings equivalent ). once i got back into the computer the problem still persisted.
Windows reset which does a semi-fresh install of the computers OS, basically it removes all users and then re-installs over its self ( not sure if its the same as a fresh install )
Result: No change and during this i forgot to install drivers but even still it was doing black-screens and freezing.
Used UUD to do a fresh install of GPU drivers
Result: No Change
