Greetings!
I wanted to install python 3.7 on my windows vista 32 bit and so i did but it always crashed before completing the setup. Though, the setup displayed a message of succesful installation, whenever i tried to open the program it would display an error of missing api-win-core-(xyz).dll file. So i searched for the problem on google which had various solutions from installing vc redistributable packages to installing the missing dll files manually. After installing the packages it did not work so I moved on to install the files manually where i had to download a file and copy it into the system32 folder. Whenever i installed a dll file and try to run the program it came up with a new missing file of the same type. Being stupid in these matters and my lack of patience lead me to installing all the missing dll files one by one and eventually my system crashed with a BSOD. And now whenever i try to boot up no matter what the option is my laptop hangs and displays an error of ‘unmountable boot volume’. I tried removing the hard drive and inserting it into another computer to use the chkdsk function or scannow but they both wont run. Infact the drive wont read in other computers as well. I have used various applications to recover my data but they were of no use as the drive has become inaccessible. I have also tried inserting the oem and running system repair but it does not show any operating system at the system recovery options. My data is really very important to me so if anyone could please help me out here I would greatly appreciate it. If only there was a way i could remove those dll files by accessing the drive somehow.
