After leaving the computer running to install the new update I came home to hear the fan on and going faster than usual with the PC in Sleep mode.
Because I had gone out for a few hours the PC had completed the update and gone to "Sleep" after the allocated 30 minutes. Not normally an issue.
Usually I hit the Spacebar and it wakes up but this time nothing would wake it from it's slumber and I had to hold the Power button on for 5 or so seconds until it finally shut off.
Hit Power button again and after the normal booting sequence it came up with a screen to tell me about the new preferences to choose from and after clicking Next(or whatever) the PC started up as normal.
A web page then popped up to tell me all the new features available with the update so I closed it off, after a quick read of some features, and left the computer idling for 30 minutes to check the Sleep mode fan issue.
It went to Sleep and the fan turned on and was again going faster than normal and I had to shut it down by holding the Power button as before.
This has only started today after the update for Windows 10 part 2004.
Have tried a few suggestions from the community about running the troubleshooter but there isn't anything found to be a problem.
Power and Sleep settings look okay.
Fan very rarely comes on even in hot weather.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.
