heads up ! i'm not talking about "pane preview" - that you can toggle with the little pane preview icon in the upper right portion of windows explorer
the preview pane works just fine
however, i am not using the preview pane. i prefer using explorer without the preview pane
this is the problem: bitmap, jpeg, office documents, pdf documents, png images all have previews
i have previews in my icons when i select large or extra large icons
but notepad (text) does not have a preview
the problem is that notepad is my favorite app. i use it all the time. does anyone know if windows 7 supports the preview icon for text documents
