quickbooks upgrade mistake

I needed to upgrade from qb 2017 to Qb2020 but it also had to upgrade to windows 10 to have QB 2020 work. I decided to not upgrade but go from desktop to online with QB - however - computer updated to 8.1 and I have lost my QB2017 desktop short cut. I can not find the file to log into to transfer my data from desktop to online . HELP!!
