Hi, I've been having this problem for at least a year now, I believe maybe longer, but only now it has given me enough issues to write about it on official microsoft site, so sorry if I forgot about some additional information.
Basically my acer worked flawlessly back in the Windows 8/8.1 days and never had an issue with it. Then switched over to Windows 10 and it was working okay for a while too. For some time though I've been having issues with the camera device. It seems when I use it, it randomly disconnects. Camera app just says that the device was lost, but most of the time after few seconds it starts working again. Skype on the other hand loses the integrated camera and says that OPAQUEmixedreality device has been found. Then after a while it kicks back to integrated camera.
The issue is extremely annoying now since due to corona business I have to attend a lot of lectures online, now I'm going to have exams and in some cases I will have to be on the camera all the time, so I would like to fix this issue asap. Honestly I don't even know what that Mixed Reality thing is. It just seems to be bugging my integrated camera device. Any ideas what should I do?
I have:
Acer Aspire v5-573g
Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
8192MB RAM
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M
And my camera info:
