Sleep Button

Is there anyway to change the assignment from sleep to shutdown when the
sleep button is pressed? The only options are "Sleep" and "Do Nothing".

Recycling from an earlier post, today ....

Go to Control Panel, System and Maintenance, Power Options.

Under Power options, click on Change Plan Settings

Click on Change Advanced Power settings

Expand Power buttons and lid

Expand Start Menu power button

Change Setting from "Sleep" to "Shutdown" or "Hibernate" as desired.

Press Apply

Press OK to exit.

If it all gets messy, use the "Restore plan defaults" to get back tp a known
configuration.
