Hello,
I've just ought a new laptop, ASUS ROG, with a brand new configuration and materiel,
ASUS ROG Strix G531GU
TV LG 50UK6950 UHD 4K 50
When I try to project laptop screen to the Smart TV, I got : "couldn't connect to the device try to connect through action center"
OS: Windows 10 1909 build 18363.836
I'm the only user on the system,
According to DxDiag I have : Miracast: Available, with HDCP
I see two display adapters:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti : Miracast: Not Supported by Graphics driver
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 Miracast: Supported
netsh wlan show drivers command shows: Wireless Display Supported: Yes (Graphics Driver: Yes, Wi-Fi Driver: Yes)
I updated the nvidia driver and the intel driver to the latest,
I've removed the existing TV devices when the laptop connected for the first time, and try to add the TV => same error,
I'm using my private network, firewall is on, (even off same error)
Projection setting:
The warning in the eventlog is the following:
Can someone please advise especially that I feel that I spent a lot of money for nothing finally,
Thanks,
Moadh.
