CD Rom problem

I can't use my CD Rom. I have tried the methods I read to fix it but they did not work. When I get to the ones about removing upper and lower filters under whatever the H Key was I see that the value was not set. So, what do I do now?


Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
