My elderly father has an HP Pavilion running on Windows 8. He was in the hospital for an extended period of time and when he got out and was finally able to get back on the computer, it wouldn't accept his password. He tried every password he could think of and couldn't get logged into the computer. I don't live close to him and, based on the information he was giving me, could not figure out how to help him. We thought it was running on Windows 7, so he ordered some type of recovery disk. However, when he went to use it, the computer told him it was not Windows 7. I have finally come to visit them and figured out it is running on Windows 8. I attempted to log into the computer and see that it says to go to the Live.com account to "fix the problem." I reset his Live.com password and unlocked the account but still could not get logged into his computer. Then I noticed the user's email address is incorrect. It is missing a character. HOW DO I CORRECT THIS? Please, please help!!! We need to correct the computer's login username/email address.
