I'm unable to install "2020-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4560960)", apparently because of a corrupt catalog, as reported by the command "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth". I checked a few of the missing manifests and they are about KB fixes that have been cancelled by Microsoft, so the manifests cannot be retrieved from anywhere. Unfortunately, none of KB#s is listed in my Windows Update history, so I cannot remove the related package either.
I deleted the cat2root and the SoftwareDistribution folders as per Technet script, then rebooted, but the corruption was recreated during boot.
Is there a way to fix this problem without reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch?
