Hi Folks,
I hope this is the right forum for this question.
I have a 2012 server which has three partitions not Hyper-V.
One of the partitions has three files on it
At one time I serviced this server but was called in about the partition in the red E: Drive
Please see image below
As you can see it contain 3 vhdx files.
Questions..
1. How are this files created? They are updated everyday.
2. There is no backup software on this server including windows backup.
3. Is the SQL server creating these files?
4. What will happens when the space is all used up - will the whole system fail?
