Replication failures in Server 2012 R2

A Bear who reboots

Hi,

Hoping to get some assistance as we have two Server 2012 R2 servers that have stopped replicating with each other a couple of weeks ago. I've checked as much as I can find, and have become stuck.

The error is only happening one way. The Primary domain controller is failing to sync over to the secondary, but when going the other way it works okay. Seeing the below in event logs of the secondary:

"The DFS Replication service failed to communicate with partner SRV01 for replication group Replica. This error can occur if the host is unreachable, or if the DFS Replication service is not running on the server.

Partner DNS Address: SRV01.hamilton.local

Optional data if available:
Partner WINS Address: SRV01
Partner IP Address: 192.168.0.10

The service will retry the connection periodically.

Additional Information:
Error: 1722 (The RPC server is unavailable.)
Connection ID: 23B306C4-7782-47AB-8C47-479219CDE8B2
Replication Group ID: BCE5448F-3214-4070-BCAE-1C055FBC198E "

Running repadmin /replsummary from PDC gives the below:

Source DSA largest delta fails/total %% error
SRV01 49d.12h:03m:57s 5 / 5 100 (1722) The RPC server is unavailable.
SRV02 14m:48s 0 / 5 0

Destination DSA largest delta fails/total %% error
SRV01 14m:48s 0 / 5 0
SRV02 49d.12h:03m:57s 5 / 5 100 (1722) The RPC server is unavailable.

I've already gone through several online guides following them through, unfortunately I can't post these links here?

All checks I've run show that the two servers should be talking to each other fine, and no network issues are detected. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
