Hello.
The headphone input on the front of my PC is broken and I cannot use it anymore. No big deal I thought, I'll plug my headphones into the rear audio jack. Well... that ends up being a massive issue somehow. The back inputs seem to be coded differently, which makes the headphone volume and "oomph" much lower than it was. My audio driver (Realtek) has a button that supposedly lets you change what the inputs are for, but they are greyed out and no amount of clicking or right-clicking makes it actually do anything. Everything within Windows says "speakers" and nothing I have found says how to change that.
Is there ANY way to change the rear audio input to headphones? I can't believe I'm the first person in history to want/need to plug their headphones into the back.
Thanks.
