Lookiing to use Freeware Encryption for Vista what should I be using?

Looking to use Freeware Encryption for Vista what Freeware should I be
using that is compilable with Vista. PGP has Vista version with 30 day
free trail then the license is about USAD 90 for one year but I not
interested. Recommendations

I like Truecrypt and AxCrypt. Just Google the names.
