HI,
Trying to RE share a folder on my WIN 10 Pro machines (No Home or 32 bit versions, no Homegroup involved).
All "Domain" related answers, I state now, are useless in my situation. I don't want to start handling domain admin privileges about just for a network shared folder.
Can someone please help.
Workgroup is setup and has been working fine for upgrades/replacement of 7 different computers since Win 7, now everything is on Win10Pro.
All PC's have internet access with the exception of 2 servers (W2008r2 and W2016 std) that still work fine (including shares) but are blocked from external connectivity via a border FW. All PC's and Servers are within the FW's LAN.
Windows update on Win 10 machines has removed folder sharing from the right click on the folders.
So how do you now share a folder now on a PC running W10Pro in a Workgroup?
The option is not greyed out, it is missing as an option on all the machines that have latest updates.
