When I accidently use three fingers on my Synaptics touchpad, and randomly at other times, I get the windows search popup window. See image below of the popup window. So far I have done the following to attempt to get it to stop coming up.
Confirmed latest Synaptics driver and unintalled and reinstalled it
Disabled in Cortana in the registry by creating a new "Windows Search" key
Turned off Cortana in the takbar
Turned off (unchecked) Three and four finger tap and gestures on ther synaptics touchpad
Search is set to hidden in taskbar
No virus or malware on system
I have spent hours searching the web for an answer to this without success. Does anyone have any other suggestions? This is driving me crazy because it pops up dozens of times daily and has been occurring for months possibly after some update. Thanks---
