I've changed the folder attributes in command line, accounted for permissions, all devices editing any files (excel, photoshop, word, illustrator, etc.) have full control and admin privileges, both on each PC, and in the folder permissions. Randomly, the network folder won't be available, which is annoying, but a restart typically fixes the issue. The only other issue is when I access the network folder, I will be allowed to open and edit files, but when I go to save my changes, the file reverts to read-only. I can usually fix this issue by going to the main PC and editing the shared folder, however, there are other users who don't understand this process and save copies of the documents locally, messing up the network system in question.
I just want to permanently remove the read-only attribute instead of stopping my work 10 times a week to undo an unwanted change. Is this possible? I've tried so many forums with no long term solutions. Please somebody tell me what I can do to fix this.
