Get Windows 10 for family member

Hello.

I'd like to upgrade the old one but good laptop with Vista OS to Windows 10.

Is it possible somehow to add this old computer to my family and then use my Windows subscription to get Win 10 OS for old computer?

I believe this will be a cheaper solution since I doubt that it is wise to spend hundred dollars on Windows OS to make old computer operational again.
