Video and brightness issue

Recently I had downgraded from Windows 10 to windows 8 on my dell laptop, since then there is a fixed brightness setting in my laptop, which is not changing, also while playing any video the video is lagging behind the audio. I have tried few troubleshooting methods by updating the related drivers, but still the issue persist. Can you please help me resolve this issue?
