I need to switch my Windows HP Pavilion XP to USB mouse/keyboard.

I found an old HP Pavilion in my garage and it worked ike brand new. Im pretty sure it is brand new but i need to switch it to be compatiable with a usb mouse/keyboard. If there is ANY way to do so i need much help on that.
