Don't trust Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool

This applies to Windows 10 32-bit May 2020 Update (version 2004) in the very least.

The tool is defective. No matter how stable the system is, it will never complete 15 passes.

Steps to reproduce:

Copy the Windows ISO image to a USB drive using the latest version of Rufus. Make sure you have it set to CSM and that the file system type is MBR and not GPT.

Next set your BIOS to CSM compatibility mode and boot from the USB drive and install Windows.

When installation is done, log into Windows and initiate the Run dialog by pressing Windows Key + R. Type "msched.exe" and hit enter. It's going to let you restart the computer with the option to have the memory test run at the next boot.

When the computer boots and the test starts, hit F1 for more options, change the test to the extended version, then hit TAB and input 15 for the amount of passes. Hit F10 to apply and it will take you back to the test progress.

Leave the test to run for a day, it will get stuck, no matter what. I challenge anyone to report back with a successful 15 passes.
