Authentication fails on ADFS (active Directory Federation Services)

I have 4 domain controllers in my domain but as soon as a specific domain controller is not reachable, users fail to authenticate through ADFS and my users can't access services like O365.

The environment was setup before I joined but I could guess there is something hard coded that's why the authentication fails. Is there anything we can check in ADFS?

We have checked the firewall and all the required ports are open.
