I have a new Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse, the light is on for all 3 USB. The mouse is not being picked up.
The mouse works fine on my work PC which has Windows 7 Enterprise. My office mouse won't work on my Windows 10 either.
My PC is updated, and there are no other updates. I have Trend Micro for virus protection through my internet provider.
Device Manager has nothing under "Mice and other pointing devices" other than my Synaptics touch pad.
I have updated the hardware.
I updated BIOS from HP Support Assistant.
USB have most updated drivers, the Power Management is unchecked for 'allow computer to turn off', and uninstalling them and rebooting doesn't change anything.
I tried the IntelliPoint download and nothing is working.
I do not enjoy using the touchpad instead of using a mouse.
Please advise, thanks.
