I am not very well versed in the hardware side of computers, so bear with me.
My laptop computer has been unable to connect to Wi-Fi for over a month, and I have been relying on external USB adapters ever since. However, I would very much like to fix my computer's issue without the use of a clunky antenna. I tried everything I could, including running tests, uninstalling/reinstalling network drivers, and even downloading drivers directly from the HP website, but unfortunately, none of that has worked. Because of this, I believe that my issue is with the hardware of my computer itself. I saw that some (or all?) laptops have Wi-Fi cards, and that they can sometimes malfunction or just come loose, which causes the Wi-Fi to simply not work. Is there some way to verify if this is the case with my computer, preferably without taking it apart? Thanks in advance.
My laptop is the HP Notebook 15-da0079nr, also called an HP Pavillion I believe.
