JPEG Thumbnails NOT showing In Windows 10

Hello,

I have a very unique issue. I am unable to view jpegs in two capacities.

1. can ONLY see icons and NOT thumbnails
2. unable to see thumbnail preview in preview pane
3. I CAN see documents, spreadsheets and etc, I CANNOT see jpegs for some reason

I have checked all settings and can confirm that:

1. Always show icons, never thumbnails option is unchecked
2. Display file icon on thumbnails option is checked
3. Show preview handlers in preview pane is checked

I have also tried:

1. Restoring the default settings
2. Restarted my computer
3. Disabled and enabled the settings as a refresher
4. Cleared cache
5. Used Disk Cleanup to remove thumbnails
6. Under the Performance section, I checked Save taskbar thumbnail previews and Show thumbnails instead of icons and clicked on Apply and OK to save changes.

None of these have resolved the problem.


I need some major help. Please, please, please, if you're out there! Please assist with this issue.
